Challenge
The project required a technical stack that could support competitive FPS responsiveness, rich visuals, and long-term maintainability across gameplay and platform tooling.
Approach
Core gameplay and rendering systems are developed in C++ with Unreal Engine 5, while Ultralight and Angular are used for lightweight in-game and supporting interface layers. Development is intentionally iterative to validate performance, feel, and stability before feature expansion.
Outcome
Special Ops continues to mature as a carefully managed production track with strong technical foundations, enabling the team to expand systems confidently without sacrificing gameplay quality.
